This collection of jewellery illustrates the hexagonal pillars created when the newly-formed basalt lava cools, contracts and brakes into sections which produce regular 6-sided columns.

These pieces tell a tale of the stepping stone pillars built by Finn McCool between the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland to our own Scottish giant Benandonner on Staffa.
