THE CURVED COLLECTION

A dynamic group of contemporary silver jewellery pieces which echo the hexagonal columns of the Scottish island of Staffa.

This collection depicts the flowing curves and sense of movement evident in the rock structures which were created when cooling flows of lava came into contact with the bedrock; a magical geological process of transformation.

THE BASALT COLLECTION

This collection of jewellery illustrates the hexagonal pillars created when the newly-formed basalt lava cools, contracts and brakes into sections which produce regular 6-sided columns. These pieces tell a tale of the stepping stone pillars built by Finn McCool between the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland to our own Scottish giant Benandonner on Staffa.

Keep your memories of boat trips from Iona and hopping over the basalt stones of Staffa close with these wearable mementoes.

THE PILLAR COLLECTION

A striking minimalist collection of contemporary silver jewellery pieces which echo the strong sculptural structures of the basalt rock pillars of the Isle of Staffa. Each piece is simple and easy to wear and yet iconic of the geology of this special place in Scotland’s Inner Hebrides.

OUR STORY

STAFFA JEWELLERY IS A CELEBRATION OF NATURE

Both the exceptional geological features of the island and the luminous qualities of silver can be as bright as the sky or as dark as the sea. This unique collection of silver is inspired by an island rich in folklore and legend. The designs echo the hexagonal basalt columns of Staffa island and are poised between energised movement and the static of ancient bedrock.
